Andy is a national expert in freeflight competition models and has been a member of the British team on several occasions. He took third place in the 1983 World Championships in Australia. A truly dedicated competitor, he once undressed, swam a river and recovered a model during a European Championship…..Hand launch or 'chuck' gliders are another of his specialities, which may explain why there are so many other keen chuckie fans within the club.
