This was an Indoor challenge open to all using one of David Lovegrove’s Foamie Flyers made some years ago, loosely based on the IKARA Butterfly.  .

We know these always perform well under the low ceiling at Begbroke and guarantee heaps of fun so the idea was an informal duration competition with added prizes for maximum number of ceiling strikes, most stylish technique and scariest flight.

Winders were on hand as well a rubber lube and Blutack made available for trimming. It was great fun with many flights over 30 seconds and some heading for a minute.

After an hour of mayhem we even had some winners with the usual confectionary based prizes
