In 2023 the club is running a group build of the VMC Pilot, a 20″ span rubber powered free flight model made the Vintage Model Company 

To run in conjunction with this we ran a postal competition between 1st May and 31st July inclusive.

 There was one round consisting of an unlimited number of flights to a 60 second maximum. Any flight time reported will replace the entrant’s current best time. The entrant with the highest flight time at the end of the round is the winner.

Entry: If a flight time is deemed suitable by the entrant, he or she should either email (webmaster@oxfordmfc.bmfa.uk) or WhatsApp Chris Brainwood, stating their name, the location/venue (e.g. Port Meadow), the name of the timekeeper, and the best time recorded. Times should be reported as soon as possible; any times reported after the end of the round will not be counted.

All times are to the nearest second, rounding down: so 35.7 seconds is 35.

Awards: Apart from the obvious (and considerable) kudos for winning, each of the top three finishers will receive a valuable comestible such as a packet of Tunnocks Teacakes or Danish pastry. In addition, there may be other prizes awarded at the discretion of the CD.
